Alcoholic Beverages Matthew 26:27

Are alcoholic beverages inherently evil?  Was the wine in Bible times different than the wine today in regard to its intoxicating effects?  What situations should we refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages?  What does it mean to cause someone to stumble?  Making sure we apply the “Rules for Discussion” to this topic, find out the answers to these questions and more when you listen to this sermon given on April 10th here.

    What an awesome way to practice last Sunday’s teaching! AND to have an opportunity to interact with other people that we may not usually get the chance to interact with in this way. I wish I could have attended! I hope it was a positive time so there will be more discussions like this at future Sunday services that I can hopefully be a part of! It was good to hear that the large group discussion went well! :)

    On the Liveoak Teachings website (http://www.liveoakbible.com/teachings.php), the alcoholic beverages card is uploaded in the handout spot, and the Pros and Cons chart is uploaded in the PowerPoint spot. We didn’t fill much in on the chart, but maybe it will help you all think through your responses for the card.
